Rajasthan SI Re-Exam 2026: RPSC Cancels 2021 Recruitment, Re-exam for Eligible Candidates

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has made a significant decision regarding the Sub Inspector Police / Platoon Commander Recruitment Exam 2021. The commission has decided to cancel the recruitment process that was conducted in 2021 and will now re-conduct the examination based on the recruitment advertisement dated February 3, 2021, and corrigendum dated June 7, 2021.

This re-examination will be exclusively for the 383,097 candidates who appeared for both papers of the previously held written examination.

Application Update Window

RPSC has released an official notice for the re-conduct of the Sub Inspector Police / Platoon Commander Recruitment Exam 2021. A window has been provided for the 3,083,097 candidates to update their previously submitted application forms. This update window is from May 16, 2026, to May 30, 2026.

Candidates can make amendments to their application forms, including mobile number, email address, current address, live photograph, thumb impression, and signature. Before making any modifications, candidates must complete the KYC process in their OTR (One Time Registration).

How to Update Application Form

For candidates who have completed OTR KYC:

• Log in to the SSO portal.
• Go to the 'My Recruitment' option.
• Select 'Edit Application / Withdraw Application'.
• Click on the 'Edit' button available against the SI 2021 recruitment to modify your application form.

For candidates who have NOT completed OTR KYC:

• Using the same SSO ID used to apply for the Sub Inspector 2021 recruitment, navigate to the Recruitment Portal Application.
• Complete the KYC process to finalize your OTR.
• Once OTR is complete, go to 'My Recruitment' and select 'Edit Application / Withdraw Application'.
• Click on the 'Edit' button available against the SI 2021 recruitment to make changes to your application form.
