RCF Apprentice Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
- The prescribed qualification must be from a recognized University/Institute, completed as a regular full-time course. Distance Learning, Part-Time, or Correspondence mode qualifications are not eligible.
- Allied branches of Diploma in Engineering are not applicable/acceptable.
- Candidates who have completed Act Apprentice training or job experience of one year or more, or who are pursuing higher studies, are not eligible.
- The candidate's passing certificate/final year mark sheet of the required qualification must be dated on or after 1 July 2023.
- For B.Sc. qualifications, specific major subjects are required for certain trades.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years, as on 1 September 2026
- Upper Age Limit (all trades): 25 years, as on 1 September 2026

RCF Apprentice Stipend
The stipend is as per the notification issued by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (Western Region), Mumbai. Apprentice trainees are not entitled to any other benefits besides the consolidated stipend.

Posting & Training Timing
Apprentices will be trained at RCF's units in Trombay, Mumbai, or Thal, Raigad District. Candidates must select their preferred location during application, which cannot be changed later.

Selection Process
The selection process is based on a merit list drawn from the marks obtained in the prescribed essential educational qualification. Candidates from the merit list will be called for Document Verification. Successful document verification and contract approval are required for appointment.
