RDWU Faculty Recruitment 2026 Notification Out!

Rama Devi Women's University (RDWU), Bhubaneswar, Odisha has announced the RDWU Recruitment 2026 for 80 regular faculty positions including Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts across 25 departments. Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens as per UGC norms.

Vacancy Details:

• Total Vacancies: 80 Posts
• Professor: 11 Posts
• Associate Professor: 23 Posts
• Assistant Professor: 46 Posts

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: Not exceeding 60 years.
• Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. + NET / SLET / SET (as per UGC 2018 Regulations). Specific qualifications for each post are:
• Professor: Ph.D. in relevant discipline + 10 years teaching/research experience + 10 publications + Research Score 120 (as per UGC 2018) OR Outstanding professional with Ph.D. and 10 years experience.
• Associate Professor: Ph.D. + Master's Degree with 55% marks (50% for reserved) + 8 years teaching/research experience + 7 publications + Research Score 75 (as per UGC 2018).
• Assistant Professor: Master's Degree with 55% marks (50% for reserved) + NET/SLET/SET OR Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (as amended) OR Ph.D. from top 500 ranked foreign university.

Application Fee:

• General / SEBC Candidates: ₹2000/-
• SC / ST / PwD / Women Candidates: ₹1000/-
• Payment Mode: Online through HIMS Portal.
• Fee is non-refundable. Candidates applying for multiple posts must pay fee separately for each post.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on the following steps:

1. Screening / Scrutiny of Applications (as per UGC 2018 Regulations)
2. Interview (Maximum 15 candidates per post or 1:10 ratio for multiple posts)

Important Dates:

• Date of Notification: 30 April 2026
• Opening of Online Application Portal: 07 May 2026
• Last Date for Online Application: 10 June 2026
• Last Date for Receipt of Hard Copy by Speed Post: 20 June 2026
• Eligibility considered as on: 10 June 2026

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates must apply online through the HIMS Portal and also send the hard copy by Speed Post. The step-by-step process is as follows:

1. Visit the HIMS recruitment portal and register using valid email and mobile number.
2. Fill the online application form carefully with all academic, research, experience and category details.
3. Upload scanned copies of all required documents, photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
4. Pay the application fee online and submit the form. Take a printout of the submitted application.
5. Send the printed hard copy of the application along with all self-attested documents by Speed Post only so as to reach the University on or before 20 June 2026.
6. In-service candidates must forward the application through proper channel or submit NOC at the time of interview.
