Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), Lucknow, a self-financed institute under the Uttar Pradesh State Government, has released the RMLIMS Recruitment 2026 notification (Advertisement No. 78-83/Estb.-2/Rectt./Dr.RMLIMS/2026, dated 25.08.2026) for direct recruitment to 74 non-teaching (Ministerial & Others) Group "B", "C" and "D" posts.

These vacancies include positions such as Programmer, Medical Physicist, Radiation Safety Officer, Hospital Attendant Grade-II, Stenographer, and Receptionist. The selection process will involve a Computer Based Test (CBT).

RMLIMS has advertised 74 vacancies across six posts under Group B, C, and D. The number of advertised vacancies may increase or decrease.

Note: Horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) is provided for 1 post each in Receptionist, Stenographer, and Hospital Attendant Gr-II categories.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be Indian nationals and meet the post-wise qualification and experience requirements as on the last date of application.

Note: Where experience is an essential criterion, only post-qualification experience will be considered valid.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be placed on the 7th CPC Pay Level applicable to their post, along with other admissible allowances.

Application Fee

Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee online as per their category. A separate application and fee are required for each post if applying for multiple.

Age Limit

For all posts, candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age as on the last date of submission of the online application.

• SC/ST/OBC and other specified categories of Uttar Pradesh: Upper age relaxation up to 5 years as per Government Orders.
• Permanent government employees (3+ years service): Relaxation up to 5 years.
• Physically handicapped candidates (General category): Up to 5 years for Group-B posts and 10 years for Group-C posts.
• Physically handicapped candidates (OBC/SC/ST): Up to 10 years for Group-B posts and 15 years for Group-C posts.
• Ex-servicemen and dependents of Freedom Fighters: Relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Note: Age relaxation is admissible only to candidates who are domicile of Uttar Pradesh; candidates from other states are eligible to apply only against Unreserved (UR) vacancies.

Selection Process

Selection will be made through a two-stage Computer Based Test (CBT), conducted bilingually in Hindi and English.

• Screening Examination: Qualifying in nature, shortlists 10 times the number of advertised posts (category-wise) for the Main Examination. Marks are not carried forward.
• Main Examination: Final selection based solely on marks obtained in this exam, prepared category-wise based on merit and reservation norms.
• Exam Pattern: Both Screening and Mains exams carry 100 marks each, 2 hours duration, consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). 60 marks on subject-related topics, 10 marks each on General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Mathematical Aptitude.
• Negative Marking: 1 mark for each correct answer; 0.25 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
• Qualifying Marks: 50% for Unreserved and EWS candidates; 40% for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates.
• Skill Test: Conducted after the Main Exam for the Stenographer post (Stenography/Typing Test). It is qualifying in nature, and its marks are not counted in the final merit.

How to Apply for RMLIMS Recruitment 2026

Applications are accepted only through the online mode. Follow these steps once the application link is activated:

1. Visit the official RMLIMS website, www.drrmlims.ac.in.
2. Click on the "Recruitment" link and open the relevant advertisement.
3. Click on "Online Form Submission" and complete Candidate Registration using a valid mobile number and e-mail ID.
4. Fill in educational qualification, experience, date of birth, and other prescribed information.
5. Upload a coloured passport-size photograph and signature (in black ink on white background), each in jpg/png format, maximum 1 MB.
6. Upload all required documents related to qualification, experience, and caste (wherever applicable).
7. Preview the application and proceed to payment of the applicable application fee.
8. Submit the final application and download/print a copy for future reference.

Important Instructions

• Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
• Fresh online applications must be submitted; prior applications will not be considered.
• Separate applications and fees are required for each post if applying for more than one.
• Basic registration details (except mobile number, e-mail, Aadhaar number, and category) cannot be edited.
• Caste certificates must be issued within six months prior to the CBT date, in the UP Government prescribed format.
• Government employees must submit a "No Objection Certificate" at document verification.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in exams/tests/verification.
• All disputes are subject to Lucknow courts only.
• The Director of RMLIMS reserves the right to amend, cancel or change the advertisement.
