Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially announced the recruitment for 03 Senior Scientific Officer posts across Toxicology, Physics, and Ballistics Divisions of the State Forensic Science Laboratory, Jaipur.   • Toxicology Division: 01 (ST)

Eligibility Criteria (as on 01-01-2027):

• Educational Qualification:
  • M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics or Forensic Science (with relevant specialization) from a recognized University.
  • OR M.Tech./M.E. with at least IInd Division in Chemical/Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a recognized University.
  • Computer Qualification: Certificate/Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application or Degree with Computer Science/Application or 'O' level/higher NIELIT certificate.
  • Experience: Two years' experience of working in a F.S.L. of a State or Central Government or similar experience.
• Language Requirement: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthan Culture is mandatory.
• Nationality: Indian Citizens only.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2027):

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of Rajasthan / Government of India guidelines for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Male - 5 years, Female - 10 years; General Female - 5 years; Widow/Divorcee/Ex-Servicemen - No upper age limit; PwBD - 5 years).

Candidates must pay the One-Time Registration Fee (Ekbari Panjiyan Shulk) online.

Selection Process:

• The selection will be based on an Online Written Examination (Objective Type).
• A Screening / Moderation process may be adopted if required.
• Negative Marking: One-third (1/3rd) of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• Candidates must darken circle '5' if a question is not attempted, otherwise, one-third (1/3rd) marks will be deducted.
