The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 02/2026 for the recruitment of 6,557 Technician posts. Technician Grade-I Signal: 323 posts

The highest number of vacancies for Technician Grade III is in the Fitter (PU & WS) category with 1109 posts.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Technician Grade-I Signal: B.Sc. in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation, or a three-year Diploma in Engineering, or a Degree in Engineering in these streams.
Technician Grade-III: Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from NCVT/SCVT or Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade.

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026):

Technician Grade-I Signal: 18 to 33 years
Technician Grade-III: 18 to 30 years

Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.
