Eligibility Criteria for RRC/NCR Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed SSC/Matriculation/ 10th Class or its equivalent (under the 10+2 system) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board.
• Candidates must possess an ITI Certificate/National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India.
• Possession of a valid NCVT/SCVT-affiliated ITI Certificate in the relevant trade is mandatory.

Age Limit (as on 07.07.2026):

• General Candidates: 15 to 24 Years
• SC/ST Candidates: Upper age relaxed by 5 Years
• OBC Candidates: Upper age relaxed by 3 Years
• PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability): Upper age relaxed by 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: Upper age relaxed up to additional 10 Years (service rendered in Defence Forces + 3 years, subject to minimum 6 months continuous service)
