RSSB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026: 874 Vacancies, Apply Online

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released the recruitment notification for Junior Engineer (JEN) Recruitment 2026 for various departments of the Rajasthan Government. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 874 Junior Engineer posts will be filled in the Public Works Department (PWD), Water Resources Department (WRD) and Public Health Engineering Department (PHED).

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification depends on the post and engineering branch.

JE Civil – Degree

Candidates must have a Degree in Civil Engineering from a university established by law in India or from a recognised institution, or an equivalent qualification as prescribed for the post.

JE Civil – Diploma

Candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.

JE Mechanical/Electrical – Diploma

Candidates applying for the Mechanical/Electrical JE posts must possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.

Other Eligibility Requirement

• Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script.

RSSB JEN Age Limit 2026

The age limit will be calculated as on 01 January 2027.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive additional upper-age relaxation according to the applicable Rajasthan Government rules.

RSSB JEN Salary 2026

Selected candidates for the Junior Engineer post will be placed in Pay Matrix Level 10 under the 7th Pay Commission.

During the initial 2-year probation period, selected candidates will receive fixed monthly remuneration as per the applicable Rajasthan Government rules. After successful completion of probation, candidates will receive the regular pay scale along with applicable allowances and benefits.
