Vacancy Details

A total of 04 posts for Senior Residents are available on an ad-hoc basis. The number of posts is provisional and subject to change.

Eligibility Criteria for Senior Residents

Candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma or any other equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty recognized by the National Medical Commission (Previously known as Medical Council of India).
• Registration: Registered with the Delhi Medical Council (only qualifications incorporated in DMC will be considered).
• Experience: Must not have completed three years of Senior Residency.

Age Limit

• Not more than 45 years for SRs.
• Age relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates as on the date of the interview.

Emoluments

Selected candidates will be appointed in the Pay matrix of Level 11 (Rs. 67700-208700) along with other usual allowances as admissible under the rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a walk-in-interview. Candidates are required to report on time with all necessary documents.

Candidates need to appear for the walk-in-interview on the specified date and time. They must bring the following:

• Duly filled application form (attached with the notification).
• Original certificates and testimonials along with attested photocopies.
• Five passport size photographs.
• Date of Birth (Class X certificate).
• DMC Registration (as applicable).
• SC/ST/OBC Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable).
• MBBS degree.
• MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma certificate (for SRs only).
• MBBS Mark sheets.
• MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma mark sheets.
• Internship completion certificate.
• Copies of any other relevant documents.
• Experience Certificate (if any).
• Undertaking, if any.

Terms and Conditions

• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• Appointments will be initially for a period of 89 days or till a regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier.
• OBC (Delhi) candidates will be considered for reservation/age relaxation. OBC (Outside) candidates will be treated as Unreserved.
• Selected candidates shall be allowed a maximum of 07 days for joining from the date of acceptance.
• Service will be governed by the Residency Scheme of the Govt. of India & Civil Services (Temporary Rules 1978).
• The hospital reserves the right to change the number of vacancies or withdraw the process.
• Jurisdiction of disputes will be Delhi/New Delhi only.
