South Central Railway, under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has announced recruitment for 2801 Act Apprentices for one-year training. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for apprenticeship training in various trades.

Vacancy Details:

Post Name: Act Apprentices (Various Trades)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: 15-24 years as on 11/04/2026 (Relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per rules).
• Minimum Qualification: 10th Pass with a minimum of 50% marks + ITI Certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.
• Additional Requirements: Domicile of specified districts and Medical Fitness Certificate.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on the following steps:

• Merit List prepared on the average percentage of marks in 10th Class & ITI (equal weightage).
• Document Verification.
• Medical Fitness Test.
