A candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan.

Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Endurance Test (PET)
PST involves height and chest measurements (varying by post/category). PET includes races, long jump, high jump, and shot put for male candidates. Ex-Servicemen are exempted from PET.
Medical Examination & Document Verification
Qualified candidates will undergo Detailed Medical Examination (DME) followed by Review Medical Examination (RME) if required. Document Verification will be conducted before final result declaration.

- English Comprehension: Error recognition, fill in the blanks, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, idioms, comprehension.
