Vacancy Details

UCO Bank has announced 530 provisional apprenticeship seats across 31 States and Union Territories. The final number of seats may vary according to the bank's requirements.

Candidates can apply for only one State or Union Territory. The training location may be allotted in any district within the selected State/UT.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

• Hold a graduate degree from a recognized university or institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
• Have completed graduation, with the marksheets and provisional/final degree certificate issued on or after 1 April 2022.
• Meet the other eligibility conditions specified in the official notification.
• Be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding at least one local language of the State/UT selected for training.

Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training with UCO Bank or another organization, or who are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, are not eligible under the stated conditions.

Candidates with one year or more of job or training experience after completing their qualifying education are also ineligible.

Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as of 1 October 2026.

Additional age concessions apply to eligible widowed, divorced and legally separated women who have not remarried, as specified in the official notification.

UCO Bank Apprentice Stipend

Important: This is a one-year apprenticeship, not a permanent bank job. UCO Bank is not obligated to offer regular employment after completion of training.

Selection Process

The selection process includes the following stages:

• Medical fitness assessment

Candidates who have studied the relevant local language in Class 10 or Class 12 and can provide supporting marksheets/certificates may be exempt from the local language test, subject to the notification's conditions.

Exam Pattern

The online objective examination consists of 100 questions for 100 marks, with a total duration of 60 minutes.

The test is scheduled for 7 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. The examination link and login credentials will be communicated to eligible applicants by BFSI SSC.

Minimum Qualifying Marks
