The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 for direct recruitment to various prestigious Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Gazetted posts. UPSC has announced multiple vacancies across various Ministries/Departments. The detailed vacancy position is as under:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the essential educational qualifications and experience as mentioned against each post. Detailed qualifications are available in the official notification. Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of UPSC for otherwise well-qualified candidates.

• Engineering Faculty Posts: B.E./B.Tech + M.E./M.Tech with first class in the relevant discipline.
• Translator Posts: Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned foreign language or equivalent diploma with English.
• Administrative & Other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience.
• PwBD candidates: Must meet the specified disability criteria.

• For all Candidates: Rs. 25/-
• For SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates: NIL

Details of application fee will be available in the online application portal. Fee exemption is applicable as per UPSC rules for SC/ST/PwBD/Female candidates (wherever notified).

Selection Process

Selection will be made on the basis of:

• Shortlisting based on essential/desirable qualifications and experience.
• Recruitment Test (if conducted).
• Personal Interview.

A final merit list will be prepared after the interview. Minimum qualifying marks apply for each category.

• First register/create profile (URN).
• Fill Common Application Form (CAF).
• Fill post-specific module.
• Upload required documents, photograph, and signature.
• Pay fee (if applicable) and submit.

Educational certificates, experience certificates, caste/PwBD certificates, etc. in PDF format.

Prerequisites Before Starting the Application

Before logging into the portal, ensure you have the following ready:

• Valid Email ID and Mobile Number.
• Scanned Documents (in PDF format, preferably under 1 MB each): Recent passport-size photograph, Signature, Matriculation/10th certificate, All educational qualification certificates and mark sheets, Experience certificates (if applicable), Caste/Category certificate, PwBD certificate (if applicable), Any other supporting documents.
• Details of all educational qualifications and experience chronologically.
• Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking details for payment of application fee (if applicable).
• Aadhaar Number (recommended).

Important Instructions

• Applications received after the closing date or incomplete will be rejected.
• Upload clear scanned copies of all supporting documents.
• Date of birth mentioned in Matriculation certificate will be considered final.
• Shortlisted candidates must bring original documents for the interview.
