UPSSSC Senior Instructor Recruitment 2026 Notification Out For 132 Posts, Apply Online

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the UPSSSC Senior Instructor Recruitment 2026 notification under Advertisement No. 21-Exam/2026 for 132 Senior Instructor (Jyeshtha Anudeshak) vacancies at the State Institute of Rural Development, Lucknow.

Eligible candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply online from 14 September 2026 to 5 October 2026. The last date for fee reconciliation and application correction is 12 October 2026.

Application Fee

Candidates must pay an online processing fee of ₹25 at the time of submitting the application. The main examination fee, wherever applicable, will be payable separately by shortlisted candidates.

Age Limit

The prescribed age limit is 21 to 40 years as of 1 July 2026. Age relaxation is applicable to eligible categories according to Uttar Pradesh Government rules.

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• SC/ST/OBC candidates of Uttar Pradesh: 5 years of relaxation
• Skilled sportspersons: 5 years of relaxation
• Persons with disabilities: relaxation up to 15 years, as applicable
• Ex-servicemen and eligible state government employees: relaxation as per applicable rules

Educational Qualification

Educational qualifications vary by specialisation. Candidates must possess the prescribed degree, minimum marks and experience requirements, wherever applicable.

• Agricultural Engineering: Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering with at least 50% marks.
• Plant Protection: B.Sc. in Agriculture with at least 50% marks.
• Horticulture Science: B.Sc. in Horticulture Science with at least 50% marks.
• Animal Husbandry: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Animal Husbandry with at least 50% marks.
• Crop Science: B.Sc. in Agriculture with at least 50% marks.
• Women Welfare: B.Sc. in Home Science, Home Economics, Nutrition or Food with at least 50% marks.
• Cooperation: M.A. in Economics, M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics or M.A. in Sociology with at least 50% marks. The qualification for this specialisation was clarified by a corrigendum.
• Panchayat: M.A. in Economics, M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics or M.A. in Sociology with at least 50% marks.
• Soil Science: B.Sc. in Agriculture with at least 50% marks.
• Agriculture: Postgraduate degree in Agriculture with at least 55% marks from a recognised university.
• Agricultural Extension: B.Sc. in Agriculture with at least 50% marks.
• Public Health: Graduation along with a Sanitary Inspector Examination Certificate recognised by the State Government.
• Production: A degree in Agricultural, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, or a relevant engineering diploma, along with the prescribed experience requirements.

Important: Candidates must have appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and possess a valid PET-2025 scorecard. Shortlisting for the main examination will be based on the normalised PET-2025 score.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive a salary under Pay Level 6, with a pay scale of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month. Applicable allowances and benefits will be provided according to Uttar Pradesh Government rules.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on the normalised UPSSSC PET-2025 score.
• Main written examination.
• Document verification.
• Medical examination, as applicable.

Candidates are shortlisted for the main examination based on their PET-2025 scores, with shortlisting up to 15 times the category-wise advertised vacancies. The main examination is an objective-type paper comprising 100 questions for 100 marks, with a duration of two hours. A deduction of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question applies for each incorrect answer.
