The Rajasthan government, through its Social Justice and Empowerment Department, offers various scholarships to support students' educational pursuits. For the 2025-26 academic session, registrations are ongoing, with an extended deadline of June 30, 2026, for Post-Matric Scholarships.
The application process has been simplified, with schools now responsible for uploading and verifying proposals online via the Shala Darpan portal for the 2026-27 session.
Key Scholarships and Eligibility
- Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS): For SC, ST, OBC, EBC, DNT students. Income limit ₹2.5 lakh (SC/ST) and ₹1 lakh (OBC/EBC/DNT).
- Chief Minister Sarvjan Scholarship Scheme (CMSS): For all categories, requires 60% marks, income below ₹2.5 lakh.
- Dr. Ambedkar Post-Matric Scholarship for EBC Students: For EBC students, income limit ₹1 lakh, pursuing post-matric education.
- Post-Matric Scholarship for SBC Students: For SBC students, income limit ₹1.08 lakh, for Class 11 to postgraduate.
- Ambedkar International Scholarship Scheme for SC Students: For SC students pursuing PhD abroad, income limit ₹6 lakh.
- Ambedkar Fellowship Scheme for SC Students: For SC students pursuing PhD in India, income limit ₹2.5 lakh.
- Chief Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship Scheme: For native students with 60% in Class 12, income below ₹2.5 lakh, and 40% disability.
- Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Internship Program (RYVP): For graduates/postgraduates aged 18-35.
