Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Nagar Housing Scheme, Jodhpur
The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Nagar Housing Scheme has been launched in Jodhpur. Applications for this scheme are being accepted from October 3 to October 23, 2025.
The plots offered under this scheme are located about 13 kilometers from Jodhpur Railway Station and only 2 kilometers from Dali Bai Mandir Chauraha. They are also just 2 kilometers away from Jaisalmer State Highway No. 114, which connects various parts of the city and provides easy access to essential facilities.
This housing project, developed by the Jodhpur Development Authority (JDA), is located in village Chokha. The plots will be allotted through a lottery system, and applicants have been divided into different income groups.
- Low-Income Group (up to ₹3 lakh per year): Plots of 45 sq. meters are available at 50% of the reserve price. A total of 342 plots are available in this category. The registration amount is ₹10,000, which will be refunded if the applicant is not allotted a plot.
- Lower-Middle Income Group (₹3 lakh – ₹6 lakh per year): Plot sizes range from above 45 sq. meters to 75 sq. meters, priced at 90% of the reserve rate. There are 172 plots available, and the registration fee is ₹20,000.
- Middle Income Group–B (₹12 lakh – ₹18 lakh per year): Plot sizes range from 120 sq. meters to 220 sq. meters, at 105% of the reserve rate. A total of 204 plots are available in this group, with a ₹40,000 registration fee.
- High-Income Group (above ₹18 lakh per year): Plots larger than 220 sq. meters are available at 110% of the reserve price. This category includes around 290 plots, and applicants must pay a ₹50,000 registration amount.

Reserved Rate of the Scheme
Under Rule 6 of the Rajasthan Urban Development Department Rules, 1974, the reserved rate for the plots in this scheme has been determined by the authority as per the prescribed regulations. The residential reserved rate has been fixed at ₹11,625 per square meter.
