RPSC SI Re-Exam Date 2026: Important Updates for Rajasthan Sub-Inspector Recruitment

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has made a significant announcement regarding the Sub-Inspector (SI) Police and Platoon Commander Recruitment Examination, 2021. Following a decision by the state government, the entire recruitment process that took place in 2021 has been officially nullified.

RPSC SI Re-Exam Date 2026 Announced

This move comes after the previous examination was canceled due to alleged paper leaks. The RPSC has now released a new date for the Sub-Inspector recruitment examination. The re-examination is scheduled to be conducted on September 20, 2026, for the same 859 vacant posts.

Who Can Appear for the RPSC SI Re-Exam?

The RPSC has issued a detailed notice clarifying the eligibility criteria for appearing in this re-examination. It's crucial to note that this opportunity is not for everyone. Only those candidates who appeared for both papers of the written examination conducted in 2021 are eligible to participate in the re-exam. Candidates who missed the examination during the original schedule will not be allowed to take the re-test.

Mandatory Application Update Window

For the upcoming re-examination, the RPSC has provided a window for candidates to update their application details. This update process is mandatory for all eligible candidates. The application update window will be open from May 16, 2026, to May 30, 2026. Even if you do not wish to make any changes to your existing application, updating it is a compulsory step. Failure to complete this process will result in your application being rejected, and an admit card will not be issued.

How to Update Your Rajasthan SI Re-Exam 2026 Application

Follow these steps to update your application form:

1. Log in to your SSO ID.
2. Navigate to the 'My Recruitment' section.
3. In the 'Edit/Withdraw Application' section, click on the 'Edit' button next to SI-2021.

Special Instructions for SSO ID Issues:

• If OTR is Incomplete: If your One Time Registration (OTR) is not complete, first complete your KYC from the SSO ID you used for the initial application, and then follow the above process.
• If SSO ID Has Changed: If you have migrated your OTR to a new ID, log in with the new ID. If your application is not visible there, use the 'Fetch Application Form' option to transfer your old application to the new ID.

Your live photo, signature, and thumb impression will be directly imported from your OTR profile. Other details like your mobile number, email, and address will need to be updated manually.
