Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and other criteria as of the last date of application submission:
- Educational Qualification: PUC with minimum 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR
- PUC with minimum 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education; OR
- PUC with minimum 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- (For SC/ST/Category-1 of OBC, or PwD candidates, minimum marks in PUC is relaxed to 45%)
TET Qualification: The candidate must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Government of Karnataka or the Government of India.
Candidates must possess all required qualifications and supporting certificates by the last date of application.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹41,300–81,800 as per the 2024 Revised Karnataka State Pay Scale. Appointees will undergo a probation period of two years, and the National Pension Scheme (NPS) will be applicable.

Selection Process

- Paper-2: 100 questions/100 marks, 2 hours duration. Covers General Kannada, General English, and Computer Knowledge.

- Kannada Language Test: A mandatory qualifying test (150 marks; minimum 50 marks required) for candidates who have not studied Kannada up to SSLC level or passed a recognized Kannada-language qualifying test. Marks are not counted towards merit.
