ULB Haryana Engineering Associate Recruitment 2026 Notification

The Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Haryana, Panchkula, has announced a significant recruitment drive for Engineering Associates in 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified individuals to join the Urban Local Bodies Department on a contract basis across Civil, Electrical, and Horticulture streams. A total of 150 vacancies are available, with applications accepted online only.

Vacancy Details

• Engineering Associate (Civil): 100 Posts
• Engineering Associate (Electrical): 30 Posts
• Engineering Associate (Horticulture): 20 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following qualification requirements:

• Engineering Associate (Civil): B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from any recognized university or institution in India.
• Engineering Associate (Electrical): B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering from any recognized university or institution in India.
• Engineering Associate (Horticulture): First class degree in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture; or M.Sc. degree in Horticulture including Floriculture and Olericulture; or M.Sc. degree in Botany with Horticulture as one of the subjects, from any recognized university or institution in India.

Preference: Candidates with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), a Master's Degree, or who were toppers of their Bachelor's Degree in the prescribed streams will be given preference.

Selection Process

The selection process for ULB Haryana Engineering Associate Recruitment 2026 includes:

1. Application Scrutiny & Shortlisting: Applications will be scrutinized by a committee at the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, and candidates will be shortlisted based on merit.
2. Written Test: A written test for shortlisted candidates will be conducted through a reputed Government agency, Government-controlled agency, or an institution selected by the Department.
3. Preference: Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD, Master's Degree, or who were toppers of their Bachelor's Degree.

Evaluation Criteria: Engineering Associate (Civil and Electrical)

• Selection will be based on the GATE Score of the last two years.

Evaluation Criteria: Engineering Associate (Horticulture)

Selection for the Horticulture post is based on marks scored across two parts, with a grand total of 100 marks:

Note: Candidates must obtain at least 35 marks in Part-A to be shortlisted for Part-B, and at least 35 marks in Part-B to be shortlisted for the engagement list. The final cut-off list will be prepared based on total marks (70 marks and above).

Remuneration

Selected candidates for all Engineering Associate posts (Civil, Electrical, Horticulture) will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹30,000/-.

Tenure of Engagement

The engagement is initially for one year, which may be extended up to three years based on year-to-year satisfactory performance. Either party can terminate the engagement with a mandatory minimum of 30 days' notice.
