The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has declared the Class 10th board exam results for 2025.

The result was announced on Tuesday by the State Education Minister, Ramdas Soren.

This year, a total of 91.71% students have passed the matriculation examination.

This year, 4,33,944 students had registered for the exam, out of which 4,31,488 students appeared. Among them, 3,95,755 students have been declared passed.

Students can check their results by entering their roll number and roll code on the official website jacresults.com.

How many marks are required to pass

According to the rules of the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), students must obtain the following minimum marks to pass the examination:

In each subject (out of 70 marks)	23 marks
Overall (out of 100 marks)	33 marks

The board also provides grace marks in special cases. If a student fails by less than 5% of the total marks or is short by 3% in any two subjects, grace marks may be awarded.

Key Points:

From 2021 to 2023, the pass percentage remained above 95%, one of the highest in the board’s history.
In 2024, the pass percentage dropped to 90.39%, lower than the previous three years.
Every year, the pass percentage of girls has been higher than that of boys, indicating stronger academic performance by female students.

Re-checking and Supplementary Exam:

Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-checking or scrutiny.
Those who fail in one or two subjects can apply for the JAC matric supplementary exam.

After the results are declared, the marksheets will be sent to the respective schools.
Students can collect their original marksheets from their schools.
